ScorpionEXO R1 Air Motorcycle Helmet (Matte Pearl White - Small)
The ScorpionEXO EXO-R1 Air Helmet was designed, engineered, and tested to meet the demands of Moto GP and World Superbike racing, while providing features that benefit every rider, regardless of where you tear it up - track, canyon, or urban wasteland.
The shell of the EXO-R1 Air Helmet is constructed from multi-layered TCT-U that combines fiberglass, aramid, and poly-resin, minimizing weight. The shell sizes range from X-Small to 3X-Large and meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.05 standards.
An optically superior Clear MaxVision Pinlock-Ready shield is installed, offering anti-scratch coating and 95% UV-A and UV-B protection. An additional Dark Smoke MaxVision shield and Pinlock insert are included in the box.
For a secure fit, the EXO-R1 Air Helmet uses titanium Double D-Rings.
The helmet's aero-tuned ventilation features a Ram-Air intake system with a 4-port exhaust spoiler system and channeled EPS to keep the rider cool.
The EXO-R1 Air Helmet is available in three colorways: Matte Black, Matte Pearl White, and Gloss Black.
To find the best fit, the sizing chart is a starting guide, as head shapes vary from person to person. Measure the circumference around your head at the temple, just above the eyebrow line, using a soft tape measure, and select the helmet size closest to your head. If your head falls between two sizes, start with the smaller one. For the best fit, helmets should be fitted by an authorized dealer.
The multi-layered Ultra-TCT shell combines fiberglass, aramid, and poly-resin fibers to minimize weight while maximizing strength and impact dispersal. The aero-tuned shell sculpture helps reduce aerodynamic drag, improve balance, and maximize mobility. The advanced multi-layer EPS provides superior energy absorption and channels for increased airflow.
The aero-tuned ventilation comprises a venturi-effect channeling system linked via adjustable dual ram-air intakes and spoiler-integrated exhaust, pulling heat and humidity up and out for a cool, dry ride. The Airfit inflation adjustment system provides user-defined fit customization for comfort and specific riding situations.
The optically superior Clear MaxVision Pinlock-Ready shield is anti-scratch coated and offers 95% UV-A and UV-B protection. The EllipTec II quick-release shield mechanism with integrated center lock provides a superior shield-to-gasket seal.
The helmet's versatility includes an emergency quick-release cheek pad system, KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads to accommodate eyeglasses, integrated reflective cheek pads piping, a breath deflector, and aero skirt. It also has Comm-Ready speaker pockets for easy installation of compatible Bluetooth communication systems.
The EXO-R1 Air Helmet weighs approximately 1,383 grams / 3.05 lbs (size medium), is available in sizes XS-3XL with 3-shell sizes for a precision fit, and is DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified and ECE Approved, with a 5-year warranty.
