Developed and refined in Shoei's state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility, the RF-1400 boasts impressive improvements in aerodynamic performance, including a 6% reduction in lift and a 4% reduction in drag compared to the RF-1200. The helmet's optimal shell aerodynamics, vortex generators, and airtight window beading provide a quiet riding experience without blocking the road's informative sounds.

Utilizing Shoei's in-house wind tunnel, the RF-1400's ventilation system has been optimized, with a relocated center/forehead vent and an additional air intake hole to increase cooling air flow. The fully removable, washable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Interior System II dissipates sweat twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors, while the newly designed cheek pads offer greater comfort and reduced wind noise.
